In the case of Trev Alberts, the "cult of celebrity" that comes from his days wearing #34 and then a suit on ESPN is giving him a jumpstart on getting those resources in place.

Resources isn't all money, it's all the support services that need to be managed. PR/Advertising/Promotions, infrastructure (ticket sales, etc.), etc.

I guess I'm not making myself clear on Trev Alberts. I love what he's done so far, but the problems UNO faces aren't going to be fixed in 3 months, or maybe even three years. So while he's done far more than I thought he would or could do, "he's only just begun."

What should be done by May 2010? Well, a lot depends on what Dean Blais does, but I'll throw the following out there.
* Increased promotion of UNO hockey games, with an increase in hockey attendance. At least one game with attendance of 12,000 at the Qwest Center.
* At least one, and hopefully more, broadcast of hockey by either KMTV-3, WOWT-6, or KETV-7 that is promoted during the week.
* At least five hockey games broadcast regionally by NET and/or Fox Sports KC, including at least one road game.
* A resurrection or revisitation of the Karnes Commission report, giving us a vision of where UNO is going. (Not surprising!!)

My next question to you:

You've seen what Trev has done in 10 weeks.

What you think should have happened by the end of year 1?

And what IS the job of the A.D.?Bridget (Weide) Brookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17551945448099513031noreply@blogger.com
