Last week's ballot |
Dropped Out: Oregon (#17), Oregon State (#23), Texas Tech (#25).
I moved USC up to the top spot grudgingly, mostly on the case that they played the better team of the top three. I worry I dropped Oklahoma too far down the list; we'll see. The Big Ten suckage over the weekend made me skeptical to consider many Big Ten teams, especially when their victory was over a fellow MAC school. Michigan was the last team on my board; they may move in depending on what happens tonight. New teams on the ballot include Missouri, who resoundingly answered their questions about whether Chase Daniels and Jeremy Maclin could be easily replaced. Notre Dame finally showed something, so into the top 25 they go. Ohio State nearly lost to the Navy at home, so down they go for now. If they somehow can keep it respectable against USC, they could be moved up. The Huskers pass up Kansas because beating a Sun Belt team is better than beating a division 1-AA team.

After last night, I think I should move Miami up to #16, Florida State down just below Kansas, and replace Georgia Tech with Cincinnati.
ReplyDeleteCincinnati looked filthy beating a decent Rutgers team.
