Time Out: Thinking of our Gopher Friends
A moment of silence and prayers for the folks up in the Twin Cities, where the Interstate 35W bridge into Minneapolis near the University of Minnesota collapsed into the Mississippi River this evening.
It was an odd day today. I watched the news last night, and thought about how close I was to being on the bridge at that time. And then I talked to my boss. We have several customers in that area. One of them was leaving right at that time when he stopped the guy and asked for an inpromptu meeting. Their office is maybe a half mile north, and it was right around 6:00 pm this occurred. One of my co-workers had to have driven over the thing just a little while before it collapsed.
