UNO has announced a tentative schedule for the 2005-06 Hockey season, complete with a price increase?
Strange plan, especially with the Omaha Aksarben Knights in competition.
The 10 game mini-plan is a nice idea, but apparantly raising average prices in light of new competition might not be the smartest idea.
Update: UNO Tickets

Yep. The latest in a series of really bad moves.
Curtaining off the west balcony of the arena is probably a good idea, but I hate to see the south balcony closed down. Those are some of the best seats in the house.
It will be interesting to see if the balconies end up fuller than the lower bowl with this new pricing structure.
Or if they lose even more ticket holders.
This whole situation is amusing...
I'll have to see what my folks think (they're the keepers of my tickets now) this weekend when I'm up for CWS. Our seats are in 109, so we don't appear to be in the "forced donation" area. The final decision will probably be Dad's, but I'm of the opinion that we should just let 'em go. I dunno.
I dropped my season tickets when they moved to the Qwest; I can only go to about 10 games a year, and finding people to use the extras was getting difficult.
I might get a mini-plan if I can pick the games.
But as we see on MavPuck, they really are putting the screws to their most loyal fans - the ones that go to every game and have continued to support the team through the lean years.
