Steve Pederson's Favorite Candidates

A couple of updates on a couple of Steve Pederson's top choices to lead the Huskers:

Houston Nutt lost Saturday to Vanderbilt. Yes, Vandy. Nutt is now 6-7 since getting the Pederson Promotion.

Dave Wannstedt is now 0-2 after losing to the coach Pederson wanted him to replace. Combining last season with Miami with Pitt, Wannstedt is now 1-9 for the last 2 seasons.

Pederson has the sports press by the manhood. They don't have the guts to stand up to this used car salesman.

If the team had played this poorly under Tom two weeks in a row, I can guarantee that people would have been talking about replacing Tom for a coach that could light a fire under those guys. So either the sports media is now a bunch of idiots, or they came back for seconds on the kool-aid.

Call a spade a spade, Callahan is an assistant coach at best, and the A.D. thinks Callahan walks on water.

Pederson has only been AD for a short time, but he's already accomplished the impossible. He's made Nebraskans long for the days of Bill Byrne.
