Mark Beech of Sports Illustrated joins the crowd of writers who are
questioning Bill Callahan's program at Nebraska. While certainly not in depth and gets a few details wrong, it does reflect the growing perception that the Callahan era is not going well, and in fact, may end up being short-lived.

Great blog. I'm hoping for the best for this season, but the offense just looks awful. I've bookmarked your blog and I'll be back. I'm interested in hearing what more husker fans think. (Personally I'm in the anti-Pederson camp too.)
You can have a look at my husker comments on my blog if you'd like (hepunl.blogspot.com , under the 'N' report headings).
Cheers!
At this point, game management skills look to be Callahan's weak point. Callahan's game day priority seems to be recruiting.
I believe I remember hearing the option was obsolete.
It is now 2007 and your comments look pretty stupid now, don't they.
Not at all... Until the Colorado game of 2005, Callahan's teams weren't very good at all. They turned it around after the uproar of getting blown out by Kansas... but at that time, it was not looking good for Callahan, other than recruiting.
Callahan has taught the HUSKERS how to SUCK BUTT; everyone's Butt. There is no doubt in my mind that we will lose to the Baylor Bears by 2 touchdows I am a die hard Husker Fan who can't beleive what is hammpening to Husker Nation under Callahan's poor guidance. Callahan must be purposly destroying Husker football. This is a friggin discrace. I am embarrased as a HUSKER fan. Callahan MUST be fired along with Pederson and any coach associated with Callahan. God I am dissapointed.
